Ready to teach and new for 24/25 - this is a series I have just finished with my Y8s, focusing on how Christians live counter-culturally in the modern world. It encourages students to ask how Christians go against the grain and avoid the influences of modern society, with a skill focus on oracy and on how religious people change their feelings and behaviour based on their beliefs.
This is the first unit I teach with Y7, new and updated for 2024/25. It covers worldviews and basic beliefs of the major world religions, with readings and PPTs as well as SOW - ready to teach!
Ready to teach - 8 Lessons with SOW, readings and resources to focus on the idea of evidence for life after death such as the existence of the soul, reincarnation and past-life memory, the existence of ghosts, Christian and Muslim beliefs.
